This weekend was amazing with another special celebration! But this time Sammy Graci-Glazer celebrated his bar mitzvah turning 13-years-old. Sammy is the sweetest boy we have met and there is no doubt that he deserved the best possible party with his close family and friends. This is definitely a day they will always remember.
The venue for the bar mitzvah could not have been better! Luckily we found a beautiful house in the Hollywood Hills with the perfect backyard to hold the celebration. The pool and patio area looked out to the most amazing view of the city. When we met with the family, Jay, Michelle and Sammy they made it clear that they did not want a traditional bar mitzvah. Well.. this is our specialty!
Throughout the party there was different types of cuisines from around the world. For Sammy’s favorite food we of course had to add a chicken and waffle station which was a hit with all the kids! The other food stations included Little Italy, Asia, a sushi station with fresh rolls, then there was burgers with Pink’s hotdogs, and a blow torch donut station! One of the coolest things we've seen. To top off the craziness there was a mechanical bull for the guests to ride on! And of course an LED dance floor.
Jay, Sammy's father, had the amazing idea to help puppies without homes to have the chance to be adopted by guests. During the party kids got to play with the puppies while also taking pictures with them at the photo booth. It was so much fun! Even one of the puppies got adopted!
The desserts were out of this world as well! On the dessert table there was endless posibilities cake pops, chocolate covered cheesecake bites, brownies, red velvet rice crispy squares, cupcakes, deep fried twinkies, and cookie sandwiches. Of course they all went as quick as possible! At the end of the night there was also a s'mores station with toasted marshmellows, graham crackers, melted chocolate all put together for the perfect treat!
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
